MANDELKER, Rose. On Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at the age of one-hundred-and-one. Daughter of the late Jacob and the late Rachel Mandelker. Predeceased by her dear siblings Jules, Hymie (Charles), and Cecile. Beloved aunt of Gerry and Suzanne Mandelker and Sheldon and Debby Mandelker; and great-aunt of Robert. Special thanks to Lise, and Belinda Favreau for their exceptional care. Miriam White

WHITE, Miriam (née Schauber). Peacefully, on Thursday, October 17, 2013, in her ninety-third year. Beloved wife of the late Clarence. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Barbara and Ronnie Weiss, Brian and Gloria White. Cherished grandmother of Rhonda Weiss, Deena and Jeremy Logan, Jennifer and Benny Anbar, Marnie White and Jason Blacksberg, and Dayna White. Proud great-grandmother of Max, Jacob, Jesse, Eden, Morgan, Henry, and Lillian. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Alan and Marian Schauber; and sister-in-law of Annette and the late Gerry White. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Mitch Beloff and Liz O’Hagan, Jon and Coca of Mexico, and Evan. Beloved sister and sister-in-law of Ronnie and Frankie Pottel, and the late Bucky Pottel. Cherished ‘Nanny’ of Andrew and Ilyssa Beloff; Ian Beloff. Dear aunt of Jillian and Josh Rosenberg; Josh and Ryan Pottel. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Terry Indig

INDIG, Terry (née Fisher). Peacefully, on Friday, October 18, 2013. Beloved wife of Joseph (Yossi) Indig. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Gladys (Gita) and Avi Dror, Dr. Jeffrey Indig and Joanne Nowa. Cherished grandmother of Sharon and Avi, Eyal and Adi, Galit and Eviatar, and Maayan; Josh, Daniel, Shyan and Mike, Dylan and Andreea. Proud great-grandmother of five. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Suri and the late Ben Fogel, Eugene and Mimi Fisher, Leah and the late Ari Fisher. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and their families. The family would like to thank Dr. Paul Lau and the nursing staff of the Emergency Department at the Jewish General Hospital, as well as the staff of the Jewish Eldercare Centre for their care and compassion. Steven L. Hoffer

Steve Hoffer was born January 30, 1960 in Montreal, Canada and passed peacefully on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lafayette, Colorado. He died from complications of dermatomyositis with his devoted family at his side. Beloved husband of Tina, adoring father of Jazzmin and Sam; brother of Alana, Larry, Andy and Shelley; brother-in-law to Sandi Wong, Rick Wong, Stacy Hoffer, Norm Wolfson, Brenda Joy Lem, and Zohar Shahar; uncle to Tyler, Una, Daavi, Hillary, Nofar and Shaked and son-in-law to Hank Wong. After studying photography at Ryerson Polytechnical University in Toronto and meeting Tina, the love of his life, Steve followed his brothers to the Boulder, Colorado area, settling in Lafayette. Steve will be remembered for his larger-than-life personality, his magnetism, and his service to others. His combined passion for sports and photography was shown through his devotion to photographing youth sports leagues throughout the Front Range. For the past twenty one years his dedication has fostered an endearing record of his community. He will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. Special thanks, for extraordinary and compassionate care, to the nursing staff of the Intensive Care Unit of Exempla Good Samaritan, Kaiser Permanente, Lafayette, Colorado. Donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made to a non-profit fund that is being established under Steven's name, providing financial support for youth sports in Colorado. Abraham Kamenetsky

KAMENETSKY, Abraham. Peacefully, on Thursday, October 24, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Son of the late Julius and the late Rebecca Kamenetsky. Beloved brother and brother-in-law of Bertha and the late Jack Plotnick, Rae and the late Abe Shechtman, Dr. Harry and Myra Kamen, the late Shirley and the late Leonard Wilkin, and Mindy Goldberg. Dearest uncle of Risa Plotnick, Myra and Dr. Allan Liszauer, Rachel and Bernie Ghetler, the late Joshua Plotnick; Irwin and Elizabeth Shechtman, Rhonda Shechtman, Brahm and Joelle Shechtman; Allan Kamen, Robert and Oksana Kamen; Jessica Goldberg, Darren Goldberg; Rebecca and Brian Singer, Alesia and Jeff Garon, Sharon and Marc Schur, Robert and Jenna Wilkin.
