Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Elaine and Barry Leibner, Norman and Farla, Earl and JoAnne. Adored ‘Bubbie-O’ of Lauren (Mark), Stacey (Adam), Matthew, Amy, Michael, Loren, Ross and Ryan. Proud great-grandmother of Nathan, Russell, Lily and Reid. Cherished sister and sister-in-law of Lillian and Jack Linder, Ruth and the late Solly Levine. Dear sister-in-law of Sarah and the late Moishe, the late Lou, the late Gertie and the late Sam, the late Ruth and the late Issie, the late Nellie and the late Boris Blumin. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to Annette and Helen for their kindness and devotion. Treasured mother and mother-in-law of Mona Naimark and Bob Abramms, Dr. Edward and Nancy Naimark, Joan and the late Dr. Allan Naimark. Proud grandmother of six and great-grandmother of seven. Dearest sister and sister-in-law of Phillip and Eve Abrams, Tillie and the late Joseph G. Schwartz, Nathan and the late Sylvia Abrams, Irene and the late Al Abrams, the late Jack and the late Ann Abrams and Yolande Abrams, and the late Esther Abrams. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Heartfelt thanks to her wonderful caregiver Leni Gonzaga. Dobrin and the late Henry Plotnick. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Brahm and Carol Steinberg, Ida and Bill Pencer, Gerald and Lynda, Robert and Mona Steinberg. Devoted grandmother of Mitchell and Lisa Steinberg, Janet and Michael Corber, Maxine and David Sacoransky, Jill and Andrew Reback, Gary Pencer and Inna, Max and Linda Pencer, Richard and Marcie Pencer, Aaron, Avi, Lauren and Max Steinberg. Proud great-grandmother of Max, and Samson Steinberg, Liana, and Neil Corber, Ethan, and Dean Sacoransky, Morrison, and Russell Reback, Matthew, Zachary, Emily, Clara, Harry, Jane, Sophie, Sam, and Adam Pencer, and Kate Steinberg. Predeceased by her dear siblings and their spouses Julius and Maisie Adelson, Gerry and Harry Friedlander, Billie and Richard Sair, Lillian and Hyman Wienstein, Alice and Saul Rother, and Eunice and Harry Slimm, as well as by her brothers and sisters-in-law Jack and Gertrude Steinberg, Sam and Helen Steinberg, Nathan and Anne Steinberg, Lilly and Hyman Rafman, and Morris Steinberg. She will be missed by her sister-in-law Clara Steinberg, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special friend of Sheila and Howard. Our family would like to thank Doctors Gotlieb, Lau, Press, Vasilevsky and the doctors, nurses and staff of the Jewish General Hospital for their compassionate care and kindness. Dear daughter-in-law of Bernice and Marvyn Grover. Cherished grandmother of Renee. Beloved sister and sister-in-law of Clifford Rapoport, Leslie and Stu Hendel, Angela and the late Barry Rapoport. MICHAEL GOLDEN February 8, 1962 – May 11, 2012 Michael passed away peacefully, on Friday, May 11, 2012, at the West Island Palliative Care Residence. Beloved husband and best friend of Micheline Bedard. Loving father and father-in-law of Dawna, Cory and Jessica, and Graeme. Sweetest Zaidie of Kashmyr and Nemis. Cherished son of Marilyn Schwarzbartl Golden and Marty and Yoshiko Golden. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Annie and Jeff, Joel, Matthew and Jennifer. He also leaves to mourn his mother- and father-in-law, André and Theresa, and brothers- and sisters-in-law, Mark and Kim, Frank, Melanie, Laurie and Paul, Lisa and Eric; as well as his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. We would like to thank Dr. Cholette and the amazing staff at the West Island Palliative Care Residence; Michael’s attending physicians, Dr. Mihalciou and Dr. Garoufalis at the Royal Victoria Hospital; Dr. Petrecca at the Montreal Neurological Institute; and Dr. Panet-Raymond at Montreal General Hospital, as well as their support staff.
