Eileen F. Mac Donald

At The Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, November 11th., 2004 of Mrs. Eileen F. Mac Donald (nee Mac Donald) of Peakes aged 85 years.

Beloved wife of The Late Earl Mac Donald. Eileen will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her children; Ronald (Patty) Mac Donald, Mary Mac Donald, David (Gail) Mac Donald, Linda (Cletus) Dunn, Donelda (Bob) Bertling, Heather (David) Voutour, Parker (Brenda-Lee) Mac Donald, Wanda (John) Mac Dougall, Roberta Mac Donald, twenty-one grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, her sister; Mrs. Mary LaPorte, sister-in-law: Mary-Reggie Mac Donald and numerous nieces & nephews.

Besides her husband Earl, she was predeceased by her infant son; Justin and brothers Reggie & Alan Mac Donald.

Resting at The Hennessey Funeral Home until 12 p.m. Monday afternoon then transferred to St. Cuthbert’s Church, St. Teresa for funeral mass at 1 p.m. with interment to follow in the family plot at St. Cuthbert’s Parish Cemetery.

If so desired memorials in Mrs. Mac Donald’s memory may be made to Pat and The Elephant or St. Cuthbert’s Parish Cemetery Fund.

Visiting hours at the funeral home on Sunday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

Susie P. “Sue” Larter

At The Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, November 24th., 2004 of Mrs. Susie P. “Sue” Larter (nee Ford) of Highfield Avenue, Charlottetown aged 83 years.

Beloved wife of The Late Lemuel Larter and dear mother to Betty (The Late Fred) Mac Lean, Shirley (Al) Mac Rae, Jimmy Larter and Nancy (Brooks) Claybourne.

Sue will also be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her eighteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews. She was the last surviving member of Thomas & Millie (Mac Innis) Ford family.

Resting at The Cutcliffe Funeral Home from where the public funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday Afternoon at 1 p.m. with Reverend Karen Mac Leod-Wilkie officiating. Interment to follow in the family plot at The Portage Cemetery.

If so desired memorials in Mrs. Larter’s memory can be made to The Portage Cemetery Fund.

Bertram P. “Bertie” Mac Kinnon

Mac Kinnon: Bertram P. “Bertie” – At The Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, November 29th., 2004 of Mr. Bertram P. “Bertie Mac Kinnon of Pisquid aged 77 years. Veteran of The Korean War and retired Marine Atlantic and Canadian National Marine Employee.

Beloved husband of Pat (nee Myers) and dear father to; Blair (Laura) Mac Kinnon, Shannon (Laverne) Mac Kinnon, Gary (Laura-Lee) Mac Kinnon, Wendy (Lennie) Murphy and Dale Mac Kinnon.

Bertie will also be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his grandchildren; Katrina, Brent, Alyssa, Kyle and Logan Mac Kinnon & Madison Murphy, brother, John (Mary) Mac Kinnon, sisters, Helen, (Clarence -“Junior”) Coffin, Eileen Mac Donald and all the Mac Kinnon and Myers families.

He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Nickola Murphy, parents; Aeneas & Mary (Mac Donald) Mac Kinnon, his brothers, Vernon & Francis Mac Kinnon and sister, Jean Gogeun.

Resting at The Hennessey Funeral Home until 12:45 Thursday afternoon then transferred to St. Andrew’s Church, Mount Stewart for funeral mass at 1:30 p.m. with interment to follow in the family plot at St. Andrew’s Parish Cemetery.

If so desired memorials in Mr. Mac Kinnon’s memory may be made to St. Andrew’s Parish Cemetery Fund or The Canadian Diabetes Association.

The J. Hamilton Douglas Branch # 4 of The Royal Canadian Legion will hold a veteran’s tribute service at the funeral home on Wednesday evening at 6:45 p.m.

Visiting hours at the funeral home Wednesday, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

Lillian R. Johnston

Peacefully at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday, November 28th, 2004 of Mrs. Lillian R. Johnston (nee MacLeod) of Queen Street, Charlottetown and formerly of Mayfield aged 86 years.

Beloved wife of the late David S. Johnston who predeceased her on November 12, 2003.

Dear mother to Stewart (Zellah) Johnston of Cornwall, Beth (Allie) Craswell of New Minas, Nova Scotia and Janice (Mark) Reynolds of Trenton, Ontario.

Lillian will also be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her son-in-law, Roland Profitt of Margate, grandchildren, Ryan, Aaron & Marla Johnston, Randy (Emily) Profitt, Sherry (Matthew) MacLeod, Heidi (Gerry) McInnis, Robyn Craswell, Darryl Reynolds; great-grandchildren, Victoria & Christina Profitt, Christian & Connor MacLeod; and sister-in-law, Mrs. Mary Johnston of Cavendish.

Besides her husband David, she was predeceased by her daughter, Ruth Profitt; sisters, Elizabeth “Betty” MacLeod, Mary (Doug) Smith; and brothers, Wesley (Bea) and Murdock MacLeod.

Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home until Wednesday afternoon, then transferred to Cavendish United Church for funeral service at 2 p.m., Reverend Lorraine Lambert officiating. Interment to follow in the family plot at Cavendish Community Cemetery.

If so desired memorials in Mrs. Johnston’s memory may be made to Cavendish Community Cemetery.

Visiting hours at the funeral home Tuesday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

Loretta Winnifred “Wootsy” MacDonald

The death occurred at Beach Grove Home on Tuesday, November 30, 2004 of Loretta “Wootsy” MacDonald (nee Mills), formerly of Longworth Avenue, Charlottetown, in her 97th year.

Wootsy was the wife of the late Melville “Kaney” MacDonald and daughter of the late Jack and Jane (Miller) Mills.

She is survived by her children, Lois Dalton (Charlie), Steve (Sally), Marina White (Bill Thornington), Cindy Fairweather (Kim), and Claudy Robson (Art).

She is also survived by grandchildren, Kent, Kevin and Wayne MacDonald, Terry White, Shelley Dirosa, and Mark, Mathew and Sierra Robson; and great-grandchildren, Jeffrey, Kelly and Tara MacDonald, Donovan and Angelica Dirosa, Jacquelyn, Chelsa and Jillian White.

She was predeceased by children, Doreen, Edward and LeRoy; and granddaughter, Tami MacDonald.

Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 2 p.m.

Interment to follow in the family plot at Peoples Cemetery, Charlottetown.
