DAVIE (née Rogers), Dianne Jeanette Friday, 07 Jan 2005
Of Helena Lake, B.C., Born March 4, 1936, passed away in the early hours of Jan. 7, 2005 after a brief illness.
Mom passed away with friends and family by her side.
We are happy to say that she was able to enjoy the Christmas season sharing laughs and memories and those around her.
Mom was born and raised and married in West Vancouver, B.C.
The memories of her much larger family after her marriage were carried with her over the years.
We know this is a part of her life that she truly would not have wanted to miss.
Mom lived on the North Shore until her true passion came knocking at her door - a chance to move to the Cariboo.
She shared with many a unique, exciting and happy life at Helena Lake, a place she cherished, where she was pleased to experience all the joys and wonders of nature with family, friends and guests.
Even though the Cariboo lifestyle was truly a challenge, she would not have changed a thing - her determination and spirit inspired many.
Her daughters, Kathie O’Neill (Kevin), Norma Deane (Mike); grandchildren Tara (Andrei), Kyle and Kelsey and great-grandchild Oliver, wish to invite family and friends to come and remember your happiest times with us on Jan. 29, 2005 at the West Vancouver Yacht Club, 5854 Marine Drive, West Vancouver from 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
A gathering at Helena Lake will follow in the summer of 2005 (TBA).
Special thanks to Dr. S. Wiebe, Dr. Cunningham and Dr. P. Schwarz.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and would be greatly appreciated.
Mom, Love Forever and Always. XOXO
Hollyburn Funeral Home. (604) 922-1221
